Mandalay Ocean Lodge is a recently refurbished three-bedroom house with elevated views across the Watamu Marine Park, less than two minutes' walk down the path to the white sand of Turtle Bay. A large swimming pool with covered seating sits behind the house for privacy and shelter from the Kuzi wind. The open-plan living and dining area has a sit-up bar and big windows framing the view, opening onto a spacious covered terrace, with a TV and Netflix inside. All three bedrooms are generous, air-conditioned and ensuite with mosquito-netted windows, and the modern kitchen is fitted with imported German appliances. A chef and housekeeper look after the house, and a solar backup inverter keeps things running through power cuts.
